Blueberry Pancakes, A Parade, Birthday Cupcakes, Bread Pizza and Legos

Josh was able to come with us to our ward Pioneer Day breakfast. We enjoyed FRIED blueberry pancakes and a fun parade at 9 in the morning together, as a family. Grace loved riding her car from G & G Mixa in the parade with Ellie and Wes.

Later to celebrate Hill's birthday we went to Georgetown Cupcake. It was so hard for me to decide on a place to take Hill, she is one of the most talented dessert Queens I know. Hill is the type that when you stop by on a tuesday morning at 10:00am she is just finished frosting the 3rd layer of a raspberry delicious cake(and her house is lemon-y fresh and spotless). So, im glad she enjoyed these little cupcakes from heaven, the red velvet was my favorite. Happy Birthday Hill!

That night was just as enjoyable. Grace and I got to spend some time with just Ellie and Dylan. We made homemade bread pizza (bread, cheese, olives and pepperoni - broil for 1 min), read books, danced to loud music, and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. After we (Dylan and I- he is SUCH a good helper) put the girls down, we sorted through 50lbs of star wars legos that I grabbed at a garage sale at 7 am (when I woke up Josh to tell him I was going to "go buy legos at a garage sale" he laughed and told me that I was hilarious- and he was right! Best find of the summer so far). Dylan and I stayed up late chatting and sorting (to even find 7 dead caterpillars in the huge tub- that by the 6th one Dylan was ready and willing to rescue me from) until our eyes got heavy and sore.

What a fun Saturday. One of my other favorites.

What a fun day! The cupcake outing sounds like a perfect idea for Hill's bday. I love your BIG photos too. You'll have to teach me how to do that!
