my kids are growing up too fast

Neal is into everything. This morning before 10:00 am he had dumped out a bucket of beads, emptied the trash, pooped on the floor, eaten 2 orange crayons, taken a shower, peed by the garbage (not sure why i left him playing without a diaper on), found some mud to eat, emptied a container of wipes, spilled his bottle of milk all over the freshly mopped floor and then he begged me for a nap and I was excited about that idea.
Neal you have 5 and a half teeth, weigh about 22 pounds and are the easiest boy (as long as Grace is around to play with). You love balls and cars and can even make car noises while you push them. You can say a few words like uh-oh, car, ball, mom, dad, no no no, thank you and baba. When 7:30 at night comes around you are always ready for bed and you wake up 12 hours later.
We love Neal's easy going personality and calm demeanor.

Oh Grace! you are in such a fun stage right now which involves lots of figuring things out. Dad taught you to close your eyes when you see people kissing. So last night when we were watching TV you asked Dad if he and I were married. When he said yes, you said does that mean that you guys can kiss with tongues?
Yesterday I had to laugh again when I put you in time out on the bathroom stool and I heard you in there saying "We believe that men must be punished for their own sins and not for Adam's transgressions" (the second article of faith)
You are full of personailty! At dance you are the most chatty girl in the class. This last Tuesday you told your teacher all about how you are having a HUGE party and that you wanted her to come to your house and have presents. She thought this was pretty funny. I drove up to Grandma Lorna's on Monday night and had you and Neal in the car when a snow storm came and the roads got really bad. When I told you that we were going to have to go back home because Grandma's road was dangerous and that we might get stuck, you replied with "Its ok Mom, I will save the day!"
Your favoirte books right now are about whales, the seashore, penguins, fish, and the river. You also love to do work books and are very good at tracing your letters and saying their sounds, coloring in the lines, and matching objects that are alike. (I love that you love workbooks)
I am so greatful that you are such a good helper! You like to empty the silverware, get neal drinks and help him take his shoes and coat off and put them in the closet where they go. You will be such a good big sister when out new brother comes this summer.

(thanks for taking these pics of my kids Missy!)

You take great pictures. I need to learn your tricks! Of course it helps when your subjects are as adorable as they are!

I cannot believe how big your kids are getting. They are too cute for words. I love Grace's pigtails!
