Happy Birthday Mom. Here are some fun memories I have of you.
- Taking me on "Mommy dates" to the grocery store when i was in elementary school, late at night while i should have been in bed
- ALWAYS a "Saturday Jobs" list on the table as we came out to the kitchen on Saturday mornings
-In fact, there was a list for almost everything; what to pack, how to pick a husband, how to get good grades, who got what for Christmas, how much we spent on what for our wedding, "money making" chores list(this was posted on the back of the laundry room door for us to earn a little money whenever we needed), and the list could go on....
-Waking up to the smell of your banana cake on Sunday mornings
- Your cute light blue night gown that you most likely still wear every night
- Your homemade flannel board stories for FHE on monday nights
- Your ability to "whip something up real quick", for example, last Christmas when you make all of us tree skirts and Christmas quilts!
And most of all Mom, your constant positive attitude. Nothing seems to get you down, offended, or even upset. You are such a great example to me and I love you.

Wow, what a tribute! Your mom is one incredible lady. She raised such a wonderful family! Seriousliy, I am SOOO impressed with all of you beautiful and sweet girls! I love this post idea. I may borrow it someday. that's so cute that your mom had lists for everything. I'm that way too and aren't you too?!

My mom was a list kind of mom too! I think that is where I get it from!
You are running another 5k, that is awesome! I would love to join you, but my knees really started bothering me when we got home in NOv. I got the marti curse of bad knees! I'm sure you've heard my dad complain about his! So I can only run every once ina while. I have to do other things. Lately I have been swimming and I am doing a team relay mini triatholon with some of my sister in laws tomorrow! We'll see how I do! I post pictures soon:) Have a great daY! What a sweet tribute to your mom Rose - She is a wonderful lady and I am gald she is my friend. I am especially glad she had our Rose! Rose, who is always happy and content with life, Rose who loves my Josh and Gracey and is such a wonderful Mommy and Wife and Rose who loves our family and likes to play games!!!
